“Destiny is not a matter of chance- it is a matter of choice”

I think we are all guided to our own destiny, by and through, the choices we are given and the chances we take. But sometimes when things go wrong in our lives we feel that we were fated to fail. Likewise, when things go right we think we are lucky. While there are many who feel this way there are also those who believe that there is no such thing as luck- good or bad. These are the people who take control of their destiny, who believe that whether things go well or not lies in their hands and the choices they make.

My destiny is in the next choice I make, in the way I plan out my life and how closely I follow the plan or deviate. Destiny is not written in stone...nor definitely not a matter of chance...it's what we make of it. It's like I get up and say I'm going to put my slippers on, and yet it is my destiny to remain barefoot all day and so I am unable to find them, or only one, or the phone rings and I forget about the slippers...then I have achieved that one destiny...however, I would find my slippers or at least put my thongs on...so it would be my choice and not chance. And I believe you can choose your destiny...but not always control it. You don't want to wait around and do nothing. You have to put forth an effort, and try your best to make things happen. There are times when it is best to wait...but not forever.
Live life and enjoy it...it is what you make it.

A person’s life is just like a kite,
you are tied to be directed not to be a prisoner.
You are tied to reach the farthest sky not to be stuck in a room.
It means that life is a matter of choice,
we are free in where to go
but when God notice that we are passing the wrong way
He is directing us through giving consequences.
He did not destined us into something He just want us to live life to the fullest and not into chances.

For me life is a matter of choice. Some may see it as a race, saying that in life, who ever reached.first the finish line is the one who succeed in life. Other sees it as a journey, as I used to see it before. That in this life, you will
never stop traveling until you die. But now, I see life as a matter of
choice. Every thing that happened to us is our choice. Though we all
know that God has plans for us, we find it in our own way and in times
we get lost but then in the end find the right choice toward God's plan
for us.

"is destiny a matter of choice or chance"?

For me i think life is not really so much on our decisions were already pre-determined, but more of what i really want from our life, even if we believe that destiny exist, if we are not content with what we have, then we would still work for it. It doesn't really mean anything on the larger scale because the end results of everything is dependent on how much hard work and effort we put in. If we fail and we chose to blame it on destiny ,that means we haven't got enough faith in our self. why should we limit ourselves to destiny? I strongly believe that when there is a will there is a way. the only limit is our abilities are born with and determination.

To all those who feel that our life is already pre-determined, forgot that!!!! live life as what we want and achieve our future.,.so we don't think too much.

for me life is a matter of chance. First, it is a chance that God chose as the owner of this life we used, it is a profound gratitude for us. Second, It is a chance to straight our incorrect doings, because God never stop in giving us a chance, and I believe. It is us that brought our fate to a mess, then this will answer, Y=CX, indeed.

"Destiny is a choice of life"

for me or some of as have/has a choice in life. in witch path you will take or witch side do you take. and that is destined because you made a choice. i dont believe in destiny. many says "you are meant for each other or you two are destined together" its not true because you/we made a choice in life thats why it happened.

we make a choice in life. we make our own destiny with our choice. we are uniqe. we are humans!

Life is whether a chance nor a choice. It depends on how you see it.It is a chance because we don`t choose from the beginning to live.It is a choice since we have nothing to do about it but to live a life.Life is a matter of decision making from what chance lies in.It is choosing from a various opportunities that comes to our life.Opportunities here is a chance where choosing is your choice.Life is like a race.Everyone must ran in order for him/her to win the race, and the finish line is the eternity. As you can see,it is a choice if you do your best to a chance for a win in a race where eternity is the finish line. There is one who look after us,He is the one who planned everything that happened in our life.He knows even your little deepest secret and He knows even every detailed about you.

Chance or choice decides our destiny? This is a problem which we have encountered at many points of our life.

It is very easy to attribute one’s success or failure to chance or luck. However, it’s just a self-fulfilling prophecy. A proactive person knows that he is responsible for his own actions and decides and designs his destiny.

When we think about our longterm goals and set milestones to achieve them, we’re already planning our destiny. Every success is a reflection of our attitude and the effort we put in our work. Every failure should merely be treated as a stepping stone in our journey towards attaining those goals. There’s so much we can learn from a failure. We take responsibility for our actions. It puts a test on our self-esteem. Even better, we’re able to stop, think and take a different course of action to attain our goal. One who sulks and blames his time for his failure only wastes his time and achieves nothing.

We are equipped with the mental faculty to understand a situation, assess the solutions and choose the best option. Our choice decides if the outcome is in our favour. Opportunities may arise along the way.(I might have to say that not all opportunites are within our reach to create). It is again our CHOICE to leverage them to our advantage.

To continue with the initial quote, Destiny is not a matter of chance, it’s a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it’s a thing to be achieved.
