Mystified By you

Regal. Splendid.
There’s something about your shadow
An enigma one couldn’t explain
This isn’t just I s’ pose a phenomenon
A fashion a trend or an obsession
Every tinge of it brings about a fulfilling sensation
So deep. So alluring. So mystic.
Always been blue yet cherished the passion
Hailed it on a plinth as if the ultimate
source of being and bliss but
I have been wrong. I woke up
One day feeling so different I started
To have a diverse perception of what
Was then, what is now and what
Is to come I reflect I concluded
That beauty indeed is in the eye of the beholder
And that he who holds that beauty
Is dearly loved.
With a passionate awe for reverence
And extra estimation of loveliness
Beyond the real tangible hues
Comes the magic of the unfathomable
Mirth that mesmerizes my heart. My soul’s
Entangled deeply into its mystery but
The magical spell that enchanted
these sight seems to shroud my whole
Being. I looked for you everywhere.
You are you.
Unique in every way but you are there for me.
Ever enticing.
Above and beyond the horizon I see you
No more but in my dream you stay
And will forever hold that special
fondness of you.
Yes, it’s you and only you.
My much loved hue. You.
Purple.

tone: love

theme: loving someone is like owning something you claim it as your very own whatever it takes.

Interpretation: the poem talks about someone whose really fascinated be someone. she claim it as her very own and holds to it very tight. she love so deeply and probably she expecting in return maybe she also want to be loved that deeply and aye she was. we can never see wrong thing when we love it always the right thing even if it mess up that much. that perhaps what we cold unconditional love. and that was what i saw in the peom

1. the poem does not tell us the gender of the speaker. but, we say that the speaker is already a mature person, able to feel love and explain his/her feelings. the speaker is a lover.

2. the poem is intended to a person whom the speaker is in love with.

3. there is no particular occasion that we see in the poem.

4. the poem does not tell us the particular setting in time. as long as the poem exists, it holds true.

5. the poem does not mention about the setting in place.

6. the central purpose of the poem where the speaker's point-of-view is concerned, is to express one's feelings, to let the audience know of the speaker's particular experience in love.

7. love is a mystery

8. the tone of the poem is light. this is achieved by the diction of the speaker in the poem.

11. the speaker uses both common and not common words. the words used make the poem seem to float. the words enigma, unfathomable, and mystic are well chosen. they build up the mystery that revolves around the poem.

13. "an enigma one couldnt explain". is a metaphor appropriately used to describe the being of the audience.

14. HUE symbolizes the physical and inner being of the person described in the poem. this tells us that every person is entitled to his own interpretation of beauty. we have different favorite colors.

15. this line: The magical spell that enchanted this sight seems to shroud my whole being is an overstatement. lines like this make the poem more moving and purposeful. paradox, irony, etc. provoke the thoughts of the audience.
